Yeah... that webcomic I mentioned back during the summer...

...I still haven't given up. 8D Admittedly, most of the progress has been in my head, but I've finally started writing stuff down and sketching things out. I've decided that I want it to be a mix of prose and actual comicness, meaning some sections'll be written like a fan-fic, while others will be like a normal webcomic. There might be some chapters without the prose portion, but I promise that all of them will be at least half comic. XD I want to do something that hasn't really been done before, and so far as I know, fan-fiction and webcomics tend to exist in their own spheres. Why not marry the two?

That leads me to the plot. I've got most of the key things figured out, but I need opinions without (hopefully) giving too much away. Which of the two sounds more cliché: someone who has been incapacitated or severely inconvenienced by 1) a disease or 2) a surgery gone wrong? I'm sorry for the vagueness, but I have a thing about spoilers. XP Whichever is chosen won't effect the storyline too much, but it does have a pretty big impact on the main character (not that you'll really know until fairly late in the comic). However, I want the character to be somewhat believable, so I need opinions. Even if you aren't really interested in the comic, could you still comment? And it would be even better if you gave reasoning, though it's not necessary.
